Loudmouth Ladkis is a podcast of conversations with two young South Asian-American women about their experiences navigating the world and coming into their identities as Loudmouth Ladkis.
For season 3, Saniya and Sapna, reached out to me as they wanted to start using digital illustrations to portray key messages discussed in each episode. Season 3 touched on prominent issues and topics including the COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19 and mental health, the South Asian diasporaβs role in the Black Lives Matter movement, LGBTQ+ identity, popular Netflix show Never Have I Ever, and self-care in quarantine.
I created artwork to be inputted into templates for their Instagram account promoting each episode. For these pieces, I captured the essence of solidarity, strength, and wellness, while maintaining a South Asian lens.
LADKI = girl/woman
I assisted in the creation of Episode 1 + 2 final episode artwork featuring my designs.

It has been such a pleasure working with Roshni during Season 3 of our podcast. She is communicative, creative, timely, talented, and is always able to successfully integrate our visions together when creating artwork. She has made such stellar and gorgeous pieces that we were so excited to share with the world!
